Why did you choose to pursue a career in this trade?
Wanted to be a motorcycle mechanic but work experience convinced me that needed to be a hobby rather than a career.
Knew nothing about plumbing and needed a different direction and challenge.
Liked the idea of driving around a cool ute with a blue dog in the back.
What advice would you give someone starting out as a plumber?
Have an exit plan.
What’s something that you’ve always wanted to try or learn?
To be an entertainer, singer/musician.
What is a plumbing tip you think everyone should know?
Do everything you can to make the job easier, before you start it.

My wife. (oxygen a close second)
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go and why?
Sipping Pina Colada’s in the Bahamas sounds great, but the Maldives wins.
Spent my honeymoon there 27 years ago, keen to return.
