About 5 years.
Why did you choose to pursue a career in this trade?
It’s just the kind of trade I wanted to do and to be outdoors. I don’t mind a bit of hard work and the maintenance side, where i am now, you learn a lot more about plumbing in general.
What advice would you give someone starting out as a plumber?
Broaden your horizons across all plumbing – new plumbing, maintenance plumbing, above ground and in ground plumbing. Get as much knowledge of the industry as possible.
What’s something that you’ve always wanted to try or learn?
Japanese.
What is a plumbing tip you think everyone should know?
Use safety glasses – I’ve nearly lost an eye a few times in all my years plumbing.
Three words to best describe you?
Old school, cruisey, hardworking.
What is one thing you can’t live without?
My family.
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go and why?
Japan, because of the city and the snow.
